We are stoked that you are going to be a part of the upcoming baptisms!

We want to share the plan for baptisms on Easter Sunday.

The Easter gathering will follow our normal order of service with a shorter sermon. Immediately after the gathering closes, we will ask that those who need to get changed head to the locker room through the double doors that lead to the hallway.

As soon as you are dressed and ready, please head out to the quad.

During baptisms, there will be an elder on the mic directing the liturgy and we will call you forward when it is your turn. Those being baptized will go into the small pool and those baptizing can choose between going inside with them or standing outside the pool. Either is fine.

For those going into the pool, please bring dark, loose-fitting clothing, and a towel. Ladies, we recommend also wearing a bathing suit underneath.

During baptism, we’ll ask those being baptized the following three questions. If the the answer to this question is yes, they will answer by saying “I do.”

  1. Do you place your faith in Jesus Christ as both your Lord and Savior? - “I do.”

  2. Do you believe that Jesus died, was buried, and was raised on the third day? - “I do.”

  3. Do you trust in Jesus’ death and resurrection for the forgiveness of your sins? - “I do.”

Then, we will read the words below and the individual will be dunked.

“Upon your profession of faith, we baptize you in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.”

That's all there is to it. We're grateful for your participation in baptisms this year! Feel free to send any questions to hello@restoredtemecula.com
