We believe the church is the family of God called to live out the mission of God to make disciple-making disciples of Jesus Christ and to advance His Kingdom. Because we are God's children through Jesus, we are to live as brothers and sisters. The church is not a building, a place, or a program; the church is God's people.
Living in community with one another is essential to growing in the Gospel and becoming more like Christ. Showing up to a Sunday gathering is great, but it is our desire to see everyone involved in a Gospel Community. A Gospel Community is not a mid-week program, rather it is a smaller community of people dedicated to growing as followers of Jesus together while helping others do the same. A Gospel Community is not an event to attend but rather a people to belong to.
Each week our Gospel Communities gather throughout the valley to hang out, celebrate the Lord’s Supper over a meal, study and explore the bible, pray for one another, and bless their neighbors. It is not something you check off a list, but a way of doing life.
If you desire to be part of a Gospel Community, your first step is to go through the Intro to Gospel Community. For more information about Intro to Gospel Community, click here.
