Easter 2026 Baptisms
What You Need to Know
We’re looking forward to celebrating baptisms with you this Easter. It’s a meaningful step. We’re grateful to be part of it with you.
What to bring
If you’ll be entering the water:
Dark, loose-fitting clothing
A towel
For women, we recommend wearing a bathing suit underneath.
Before Baptisms
Our Easter gathering will follow our normal order of service with a slightly shorter sermon.
Immediately after the gathering:
Change in either:
Bathrooms in the MPR (gathering space)
Bathrooms in the 400 building
Then head to the quad through the kids check-in area
Baptism Order
We’ll call people forward one at a time:
Jack Hill (Ryan Hill)
Billie Hill (Kate Hill)
Malcolm Mallory (Liz McDaniel)
Randy Mallory (Liz McDaniel)
June McDaniel (Jeff McDaniel)
Joshua Berga (Heather Berga)
Cindy Lara (Ebony Logue)
Sebastian Lara (Dorian Stephens)
Ricardo Lara (Tom Logue)
Samantha Lara (Ricardo Lara + Tom Logue)
Name in parentheses = the person baptizing them
What will happen
An elder will guide the time from the mic.
When your name is called:
Come forward to the pool
The person baptizing you can step into the water with you or remain outside—either is fine.
You’ll be asked three questions. If your answer is yes, say:
“I do.”
Do you place your faith in Jesus Christ as both your Lord and Savior?
Do you believe that Jesus died, was buried, and was raised on the third day?
Do you trust in Jesus’ death and resurrection for the forgiveness of your sins?
Then we’ll say:
“Upon your profession of faith, we baptize you in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.”
And you’ll be baptized.
A quick note
Take your time. There’s no need to rush.
We’re honored to celebrate this with you.
